Polk Fellowship Program

Helping students find their path, purpose, and passion.

Baylee Christensen during her time as a Polk Intern

The Polk Internship Program, provided by Grand Canyon Conservancy, helps college students find their passion for preserving nature through vegetation work, wildlife biology conservation, or through unique fields like fire effects monitoring. Through hands-on experiences and mentorship, the program empowers interns to discover their science-based career path.

The paid internship provides participants with invaluable opportunities to work on essential conservation projects with Grand Canyon National Park’s Science and Resource Management Division, contributing directly to the restoration and protection of Grand Canyon's unique ecosystems.
